This sleek table lamp is designed to work seamlessly with a "puck" battery-operated LED light source. The lamp sits proudly atop a standard 68mm/2.75" diameter LED puck light, which runs smoothly on 3 AAA batteries. I recently acquired three of these lights at Lowes for an affordable price of $9.98, and they came with the batteries included. A quick glance at the photos reveals the lamp in both darkness and brightness - first, with the light off, then illuminating a dimly lit closet with ease.
