I've made my own lamp knob since the one I had got striped out. Threading shouldn't be a problem in this case. Dimensions: The knob is 20 millimeters high, its small end is 6.6 millimeters wide, its large end is 13.8 millimeters wide, and it has an inside diameter of 2.58 millimeters.
