Within a blistering 36-hour timeframe, I crafted this cutting-edge model for the low-poly battle challenge. The end result secured a well-deserved second-place finish, solidifying my skills in high-pressure competition. Animation was a natural follow-up to the challenge, as I aimed to push my creative boundaries even further. Initially, I envisioned bringing fire to life using the precision of plane geometry and the vibrant flair of a sprite sheet texture. Unfortunately, Sketchfab's limitations on texture offset forced me to pivot and adapt, but ultimately led to a more innovative solution.
