Lamp cover Dive Helmet
thingiverse
I've crafted a dive helmet lamp cover for a buddy of mine. He had some outdoor lighting that needed a dash of personality, so we hatched an idea to integrate it into an old dive helmet. This is a work in progress and hasn't hit print yet. It's my first upload and major creation in Fusion 360. Please share your thoughts on what you like and what I might or should tweak. I aimed to make it print-friendly as possible but still need to modify some parts to minimize supports, as I mentioned - it's a work in progress and I'm new to 3D modeling. Also, my native language isn't English, so forgive any spelling mistakes ahead of time. UPDATES: V2 (and V2.1): I smoothed out some areas and gave the base a 10° angle so it can sit on the ground. V2.2: I cleaned up as much as possible and added an assembly piece inside the helmet to attach the light to. Again, I uploaded new versions in angled and flat models, now at 10° and 15°. I deleted the old ones. If someone's interested in the front enclosure ring (where the glass fits onto), please let me know - I'll be using the original metal ring.
