Lamp Clamp

Lamp Clamp

So, as seen in the pictures, I added this cute little LED lamp to the side of the gantry. It's a well-known Internet shop find (5W, ~30cm, LC-L-052-W or LC-L-052-WW) that didn't stay put with just double-sided tape due to heat and vibration. A single clamp is all it takes because the tape still holds it in place. The cable is fixed on top to lead it out of the working area. Black tape was also added to block light from spilling over to the front too much. I made it out of ABS for extra bending resistance. The 5mm gap between moving parts and the gantry post called for a 2.8mm clamp. It's designed specifically for the Anycubic I3 Mega. TinkerCAD came up with the random name for this thing. Printing took just 12 minutes.
