Lamp Clamp Table Mount, Version 2
thingiverse
Updated files (IPT & STL) to Rev 4, 23 Nov 20: the L-bolt thread is actually M8 x 1.25. I updated all clearance holes for that thread. They were previously 5/16-18 threads. Version 2 with some enhancements. My version 1 part finally broke after a few years due to tension + fatigue when the lamp was repeatedly extended very far out from its support. Updates: - Simplified CAD model - Bore where the lamp mounts has been reduced for a tighter fit, which should increase the part's longevity - Added the clamp as a separate printable part - Removed the horizontal lamp mounting bore for additional strength - I never ended up using it - Overall strength improvements - Reduced the installation diameter for the "L" clamping bolt for a tighter fit - Mount can be screwed into something else (wall, table, etc.) with #10 screws, quantity 4, with a countersunk head The clamp is available in 2 versions: a "solid" one where you can fill with whatever infill pattern you want, & a "shelled" version which already has a lot of excess material voided out. It's a single IPT - suppress the solid fillet feature & drag the EOP slider to the end for the "shelled" version. It's mostly faithful to a COTS one I already have. I believe the specialized "L" bolt is a 5/16-18 thread. Original text: Replacement lamp clamp table mount for standard 1/2" shafts. These cost too much.
