Lamp Clamp - Adjustable Desk Task Lamp

This replacement clamp system is designed for the v-light adjustable desk task lamp available on Amazon. The lamp itself has average quality, built with a focus on affordability rather than durability. A major issue arises when extending the light upwards, as it often falls out of the original clamp system. To solve this problem, I have developed a new clamp version that addresses the key issues with the original design. This improved system provides a tighter fit onto the lamp and includes a screw hole that can be used like a set screw for added security. ### Essential Hardware * The nut from the original clamp should be reused. * Reuse the metal threaded L bar from the original clamp as well. * Optionally, you can use an M4 screw as a set screw. I've found an M4 10mm to work effectively, but an 8mm might also suffice in most cases.
