Lamp Cable Adjuster And Cover
thingiverse
This is a small canister cable length adjuster/aligner for lamps that hangs from the ceiling. If you found this design very helpful or wish to support me, consider buying me a cup of coffee by using this link: https://www.buymeacoffee.com/Mb1vZjXUG. I created this because I was tired of having two lamps dangling from the ceiling in line, but not equally aligned in height. Before this, I used rubber bands to roll up the cable at the top so I could align the lamps somewhat decently. This design is much better-looking and easier to use, allowing me to push the cable into the canister in both the top and bottom parts. You can place both the canister and the lamps at the same height and then tighten the M2 screws to lock the cable. I have approximately 10 cm of extra cable length rolled up in the canister, but I don't think it's wise to have more than this or you might not be able to close the canister. Note: Use 4 x M2 - 8mm bolts that are no longer than 6 mm might work. You also need 4 x M2 hex nuts. You do not need to print this with support, but the holes where the M2 hex nuts should be may require scraping out loose filament, depending on your printer settings.
