I really messed up this lamp assignment. I forgot that lamps actually have lightbulbs inside them, which means they're basically just a pole with nothing else in there. I couldn't figure out how to merge the interior of the lampshade together properly. I also didn't know what nurbs are, and I suspect it was a pretty big deal. To make matters worse, I struggled to upload my work, so now it's two days late. I'm starting to think 3D modeling might not be for me. It's possible that I just need to pay more attention in class, but I get really anxious that I've missed something crucial and won't be able to do anything. Now that I think about it, I probably have, because I'm having a hard time with even the basics, and most of what my teacher says goes right over my head. I'm in big trouble now.
