LAMINATE PLANK FLOOR TAP BLOCKS
thingiverse
These tap block profiles are made to be used when installing laminate flooring. The parts are made to be attached to a 2x4 wood stud block at 6" lg (1.5 x 3.5" actual). I attached them to the wood using some dry wall screws. I made them using 25% infill. These have lasted thru installing about 1000 sq of flooring so far and I throw them around. I have included a image of the notches which worked with the plank notches I'm using. Let me know if you need different notch sizes if I get some time i can upload different sizes. (for those who have not installed laminate floor planks before) Most floor planks are made to snap together which require a rubber mallet hitting the planks together. These Blocks are made to fit plank profile so the lip of the does not get damaged while installing the planks.
