Lament Configuration [Minimalist Version]

Heres my minimalist interpretation of the Lament Configuration from the Hellraiser series.

I wanted a version where the gold faces were smooth and solid, without the small holes and divots that make printing a bit messy.

Additionally, I designed this so that the gold faces can be printed separately from the black cube sides to make painting and assembly easier. The gold faces also sit fully inside the cube sides such that they are flush with the cube sides and do not protrude outward.

At 100% scale, the gold face sides are 76.6mm (3 inches) and the cube sides are 82.6mm (3.252 inches)

Ive also included two different versions of the top face (Face_A), one with the shapes filled and one with the shapes empty.

Print two of each face (A, B, C) and six SidePlates. The SidePlates have small notches that fit into eachother and help align them. Glue all six sides together, starting with 3, then adding one at a time until done.

You can then paint the faces and when dried, glue to the cube.

I avoided the white residue that often comes when using krazy glue by using black nailpolish instead of glue when connecting the gold faces to the cube. Just paint the surface of the cubes with a decent amount of black nailpolish and press the gold faces onto the surface. Itll stick well and wont leave any discolored residue.

UPDATE: Fixed some small gaps in the connector bits on FaceC
