Lamborghini Urus RC Scale-Crawler
thingiverse
This project I'm currently working on is a fully printed chassis & body for an RC Scalecrawler at a scale of roughly 1:15. It's designed to work seamlessly with the axles and motor of a Reely Hiker or PRC QX4. Keep in mind that this is a work in progress, and I make no guarantees about its performance or print quality. I'm currently in the testing phase, and I'll add updates as I progress. From a technical standpoint, it should work just fine, but I haven't printed anything yet, so we'll see how it goes. To get started, you'll need to set your print settings accordingly. The main parts require support, and it's best to print them upright. For the rear lights, use 0% infill, minimize wall lines, and skip bottom layers altogether when using transparent filament. Once printed, paint them black, then sand down the area that will house the LED lights for optimal visibility. One important note: the files are not in the correct orientation, so be sure to rotate them before printing. The original model I used as a starting point is available here: https://3dwarehouse.sketchup.com/model/385ae6ab-73ae-4056-930e-6d2001f17b30/Lamborghini-Urus UPDATE 17.02.2019: I've added an updated part, the complete front half, which uses less support than before and includes holes for guide pieces to make assembly easier. UPDATE 22.02.2019: The front half has been finished printing, and I'm currently working on the rear half.
