The Lamborghini Huracán is a high-performance sports car produced by Italian luxury house Lamborghini, succeeding the Lamborghini Gallardo as the flagship model. Its parent company is the Volkswagen Group. The first version unveiled is the Lamborghini Huracán LP 610-4, featuring a 5.2-liter V10 engine producing 610 horsepower positioned at the rear central location with an advanced all-wheel drive system in place. Maximum torque reaches 560 Nm at 6,500 rpm, while its power-to-weight ratio stands at an impressive 2.33 kg per horsepower. Equipped with a double-clutch gearbox and seven-speed transmission. Its platform seamlessly integrates Lamborghini's carbon fiber technology with aluminum components, resulting in a total weight of just 1,422 kilograms. For comparison, the Ferrari 458 Italia weighs 1,380 kilograms, but the Lamborghini Huracán has two more cylinders and comes standard with all-wheel drive. Meanwhile, the McLaren MP4-12C tips the scales at 1,350 kg, boasting a carbon fiber chassis and smaller engine with rear-wheel drive. The Lamborghini Huracán is estimated to reach a top speed of 325 km/h, although it may exceed this figure under optimal conditions. It can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds and from 0 to 200 km/h in 9.8 seconds. Production of the Lamborghini Huracán began during spring 2014, with its public debut taking place at the 84th edition of the Geneva Motor Show.
