The Lamborghini Centenario LP-770 is a supercar manufactured by Italian powerhouse Lamborghini, unveiled on March 1, 2016 during the Geneva Motor Show with great fanfare. Only 40 units will be produced, and they're already sold out at a whopping €2.5 million each. This stunning vehicle pays tribute to Ferruccio Lamborghini, the company's founder who would have turned 100 in 2016, earning it its name. In celebration of this milestone, Lamborghini also unveiled the Centenary LP 770-4 Roadster in the same year. The main differences between the two models are a sleek open-top design and a rear engine door that adds to the overall aerodynamics. The first unit off the production line boasts a simple light silver paint job, while its weight has increased slightly to 1570 kg. The Centenario is built on the Lamborghini Reventón and Veneno platforms, with a length that surpasses even the Aventador SV. Its hood features large air intakes that significantly boost aerodynamic load to the front axle. Additional air intakes can be found in the headlights, skirts, and wheel arches, providing essential airflow to the rear radiators. The monocoque body and chassis are crafted from high-strength carbon fiber. The functional skirts, front splitter, wheel arches, and rear diffuser all sport a sleek matte carbon finish. In total, this masterpiece tips the scales at 1520 kg, a full 55 kg lighter than its Aventador counterpart.
