Human: A stone discovered near Lamb's Knowe, approximately three miles east of Chatton, Northumberland, has sparked curiosity. \nThe Beckensall Archive (BA) identifies it as "Lamb's Knowe 2," noting a shallow cup with visible pick marks. In 2006, the NADRAP Team 3 located the panel and added it to ERA, describing it as follows: \n"Although certain of its identity and location, the shallow depression and others across the undulating surface may be natural, caused by weathering. The 'peck marks' are likely modern quarry tool marks." One might question this final statement and the underlying assumption. \nERA and BA information is available at https://archaeologydataservice.ac.uk/era/section/panel/media.jsf?eraId=1003\nThe model was created from six stereo pairs captured by Joe Gibson of NADRAP Team 3 in June 2006. The imagery forms part of the full NADRAP archive deposited with Historic England and Northumberland County Council.
