Lakshmi, also known as Laxmi, is a Hindu goddess revered for her association with wealth, fortune, and prosperity. She serves as the wife and shakti (energy) of Vishnu, one of the primary deities in Hinduism and the Supreme Being in the Vaishnavism Tradition. The goddess Lakshmi is also referred to as Sri or Thirumagal due to her possession of six auspicious and divine qualities, or gunas, and serves as the divine strength of Vishnu. In Hindu mythology, she emerged from the primordial ocean's churning (Samudra manthan) and chose Vishnu as her eternal companion. Whenever Vishnu descended on Earth as avatars Rama and Krishna, Lakshmi descended alongside him as his respective consort. This object is part of "Scan The World," a non-profit initiative launched by MyMiniFactory that aims to create a digital archive of fully 3D printable sculptures, artworks, and landmarks from around the world for public access.
