Behir inhabit diverse environments, with some populations nesting in the depths of caverns and others roaming open plains; this subspecies is particularly well-suited to lake dwellings. Over time, its hind legs have atrophied, evolving into vestigial fins that facilitate aquatic movement, accompanied by a gill-like mane forming along its neck.
