The Guatemala Lake Atitlán region is modeled from SRTM2STL using Space Shuttle-derived data. Scale multiplier set at 1.0 as preliminary tests demonstrate optimal resolution at native scale. The open-source code for creating these STL files is available on github, licensed under the GNU general public license. Visit github to locate the SRTM2STL repository via search. Instructions Consider printing at reduced size due to observable warping issues with PLA materials and notably poor results when attempting to print large Raised Relief Maps. Noteworthy success has been achieved in producing big maps by adjusting the printing settings to manage warping, but individual experience may vary.
