In a distant future, where anarchy reigns and neon lights flicker, Lake resides. With a menacing appearance and furtive gaze, Lake devotes himself to hunting down rewards for modest sums of money. Those who have seen him at the bar know he's a man of few words, and it almost seems like he exerts effort in expressing minimal emotions possible. Emanating such an aura of mystery, it's only natural that he provokes more questions than answers (especially since he rarely gives any). Locals have tried to figure out the story behind his bionic leg for years, but whenever they manage to get him to talk, he changes his answer: sometimes he says it was ripped off by a crocodile, other times he claims he had to cut it off after it got stuck in a collapse. No matter how hard they try, nobody's really clear on what the true story is.
