Here's a fun fact about RC loading raupes! The Model Scale is 1:14. It has all the functions you'd expect, including Drive Train, Loader Hinge/Pivot, Lights, Horn, and Motor Sound. Fully Assembled weight 3.6kg.\n\n \n \n Instructions for Beginners\nIf you're a seasoned model maker or DIY enthusiast, you can attempt to build this scale model replica. Be warned: several parts need adjustment and/or refinement. It also assumes you have some knowledge of metalworking skills (sawing, drilling, brazing). The components were printed using a Mendelmax 2.0 3D printer with a layer height of 0.2mm. "Hiendl ABS Aluminum 3mm" filament was mainly used for the print. Single parts are attached to each other using "UHU Plastic Special." This also comes in handy when gluing over potential cracks in the ABS plastic material. The drive axle has a ball bearing, while other pivot points use self-made brass bearing inserts. Be sure to install the bearings with hot glue and make sure to apply pressure so they set firmly. Do not neglect securing the connecting parts on the chain segments against slipping off, by gluing them using hot glue, as well. Use an 0.1mm smaller drill for each mid-point on every link plate's vertical bars. This makes for a very smooth motion while the link bar rotates back and forth along the top edge. We also found that we didn't have any problems getting our custom bearings running quite smoothly, just by making them nice and flat. We hope you enjoy building your own RC loading raupes model scale! Additional Improvements :\nCaterpillar Support - Thing 843970\nFrame Net - Thing 2114695\nLink Chain Extension - Thing 2843141
