My old style Lada T132 sewing machine (also sold under Cresta, Sewmaster, Minerva branding) had a perished non-standard timing belt that rendered it useless. The old belt had a profile that looked pretty trapezoidal with a pitch about 7.2 / 7.3mm. After some trials I came up using a T2.5 profile with 50 teeth scaled up about 288% which I printed in TPU. In order to reinforce it and prevent excessive elongation I added some slots to accommodate a thick nylon thread or similar. The fit is perfect and the machine runs very smooth but I'm a bit sceptical about its durability or ability to transfer torque without sliping and setting the machine out of timing. Only time will tell. Feel free to experiment yourself.
