Lack v1 40x10mm Enclosure Fans
prusaprinters

I was looking at the cooling fan design from @dougmeek. However, I have a lack v1 enclosure. So I took inspiration from his design and add/updated it to support a v1 lack enclosure, where the full 50mm width of the top table still exists. In this design, there is a top part that is used to house the dual 40mmx10mm fans, and then there are two flutes that are connected into the bottom part which hold the flutes in place. I uploaded the 3D model of the design, to show how it looks in CAD. Note that the dark transparent part in the CAD represents the table top. And both flutes are the same, so two are required to be printed to use the design.

I run the fan power, inside the enclosure, and connect them up to the 24v system of the mk3s. The 40mmx10mm fans I use are 24v and connect together with my 24v LED lighting system. I also have two sets of these in my enclosure, which allows for adjusting the temperature, based on the room ambient. I found that having only one of these was fine for winter months, but for the summer months, I needed more air flow.

I have an Arduino, temperature sensor, and MOSFET that is setup to measure the enclosure temperature, and then the MOSFET is used to to turn on and off the fans based on a set temperature in the Arduino code.
