Lack Table Side Spool Holder
thingiverse
One of my go-to filament brands surprisingly switched from cardboard spool wraps to a different material, but unfortunately, their new spools didn't glide smoothly on my custom-designed Lack side holder I built some time ago and were causing excessive friction.\r\n\r\nI constructed a brand-new spool holder with 608 bearings, and instead of creating the entire mount from scratch, I opted for a shortcut by grabbing Fifloaks' design and tweaking it to fit my needs. \r\n\r\nUnfortunately, all I had on hand were 90mm long M8 bolts, so the resulting spool holder is slightly too short, but I was able to secure it in place using superglue, and it functions as intended.\r\n\r\nTo assemble this project, you'll need two 608 bearings and: \r\n100mm M8 bolt for an 80mm roller\r\n110mm M8 bolt for a 90mm roller\r\n120mm M8 bolt for a 100mm roller\r\n\r\nChoose the length of roller you prefer to print, remember to use supports with the rollers. Keep the infill level relatively high for added strength.
