LACK table printer hinge/ latch
thingiverse
This is a custom-made latch/hinge system designed specifically for converting an Ikea Lack table into a 3D printer enclosure. To assemble this system, simply print 3-4 sets of each part and install two as hinges and one or two as latches. Notably, there's a pre-drilled cutout on the back of one side meant for attaching foamcore, acrylic, or polybarbonate for added support. The hinge plates feature neatly spaced .125-inch diameter holes, while the corresponding cutout is .125 inches deep. With a print resolution of 0.2mm, it takes approximately 5.5 hours to complete all parts.
