Lack Table Hack Parts (Magnet Panels)
thingiverse
This is a modified Ikea Lack Table Hack designed to create an enclosure suitable for use with the Snapmaker machine and all its various heads. The set includes single and multiple parts, allowing users to print in different directions if desired, including hinges. Brackets are clearly labeled for easy identification. To ensure accurate printing of all required parts, it is recommended that a diagram of components be created (a template will be uploaded later). Wood screws are necessary to secure the tables together, while magnets alone suffice to hold the panels onto the legs once completed. Begin by printing the Leg Bases - these pieces allow the tables to connect and feature protruding sides. Align the interior surfaces of the pieces, then locate the central hole. Note which side will be the front, as this configuration does not include magnets. Next, print the Leg Tops, which can be secured to the legs once installed using screws. Attach a magnet to each hole, taking note that the front side does not feature magnets. Print the hinges, door stops with built-in magnets, and door knobs (alternatively, other designs may be used). To facilitate easy removal of side panels when necessary, consider adding knobs to the panel sides during printing.
