Lack table enclosure with hidden leg extensions
thingiverse
I've been looking at Ikea Lack enclosures for some time, but I didn't like the look of the bulky printed leg extensions that most people use. I printed off some samples, and as well as the long print time, I realised that it would be cheaper to buy another table. If I could only find a neat way to connect the legs together... Snocat to the rescue https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3125171 - I used their insert as is. It's a very tight fit inside the legs, but it holds together nicely. I didn't need their drilling guide as I had other ideas. I've gone into detail about the Ikea legs in the section below. I didn't find this information on other builds, so hopefully it'll help someone.
