Lack Table enclosure [Abandonned]
thingiverse
I'm halting further development on this approach after the first test. The concept is functional, but it's excessively sensitive to distortion for a smooth slide operation, and the combination of 5mm and 6mm sides creates an unworkable mess. I'm now working on an alternative method that will be released soon. For reference, I've left these files online in case anyone wants to use them as a starting point. This is a very early work-in-progress project, and it hasn't yet been printed. I'm unsure whether it's functioning as intended. Goals: Place acrylic plates along the sides to increase interior volume by adding 10cm of vertical height. Design two-plate width with either 5mm or 6mm thickness, or a mix of both. Enable easy removal of all sides. Allow each plate to be easily secured using integrated sliders. Make an optional hinge available.
