LACK Shelving System
thingiverse
The LACK Shelving System allows you to create endless combinations of shelves with 3D printed joints, turning the classic IKEA LACK side table into a highly versatile storage solution. This system gives you the flexibility to choose from an array of shelves that are both affordable and easily accessible. ### MAKE: - Choose any rigid filament according to your preference. Consider dimensional shrinkage if using high temperature filaments like ABS or PC, etc. - Print the joints with sufficient infill, more than 25% for optimal results. - To quickly assemble a large number of tables, print the leg spinner and attach it to a driver equipped with a 1/4"(6.35mm) hex square nut. - Drill into the legs only after the tables are assembled and placed in their designated positions. This approach compensates for any inaccuracies or inconsistencies in leg placement. - Drill holes in the legs using 3mm or 4mm bits through the existing holes on the joints. - Install foot/dampers only on the bottom row of tables. ### BOM: - 10g(M5)x15-20mm Flat Head Screw (Note: Pan head is used in my photos as it's more accessible for me; however, flat head provides better wall protection) - 1/4"(6.35mm) Hex Square Nut
