Lack Shelf

Lack Shelf

I crafted these custom table connectors specifically for my Prusa enclosure, allowing me to seamlessly connect a table to the bottom. Later, I decided to design and build a storage shelf using the same versatile connectors. All that's required for this shelf is a pair of Ikea Lack tables, wood screws, and the printed connectors. The total cost came in just over 30 dollars. For optimal results, I strongly advise utilizing PETG for added strength and durability. While PLA will work, it may lead to cracked connectors if not handled with care. To assemble the shelf, align the connector with both corners of the table. I recommend drilling a hole for screws first, but this step is not strictly necessary. Next, insert a screw into the center hole, followed by the side screws. Repeat this process for each corner. Once attached to the first table, place the next one on top and line it up with the connectors. Then, screw each leg into the connectors, taking care to pull the legs taut before securing them in place. Continue this process for as many tables as you wish to stack on top of each other.
