Lack M6 Filament Guide

Lack M6 Filament Guide

This is a custom-designed filament guide that fits perfectly through the top of an Ikea Lack table top, featuring PC4-M6 push-release connectors at both ends. To achieve easy access and removal of PTFE tubing from the filament spool to the printer without hassle, I created this innovative guide. The design incorporates M6 threads on both ends, allowing for a snug fit when screwed in tightly. This secure connection also ensures the guide remains firmly in place as it slots through an 8mm hole. The tube's interior is flared for effortless insertion of filament, making this guide an ideal solution for smooth and efficient printing operations. For those who want to make modifications or adjustments, I've shared my Onshape document here (https://cad.onshape.com/documents/9574dbd0b322c24a92c16d14/w/d8a76b5a8522a06468176117). The thread dimensions are parameterized, making it relatively simple to customize the fitting for different applications or switch to 3mm filament.
