Ikea Lack End Table Leg Support ==================== Lack coffee tables are a great value, but their flimsiness and jiggly nature can make them problematic as printer stands. To address this issue, I designed a bracket that provides much-needed rigidity to the legs. Supplies Needed: --------------------- * 4 of these brackets * 5 1/4inx1in lag screws per bracket (or similar size) Instructions: --------------------- 1. Apply wood glue to the bottom of the legs before screwing them down into the table top, which will significantly improve the table's stability. 2. Print 4 brackets - an STL file can be found here 3. Use one of the brackets as a guide to pre-drill the 5 holes per leg, as larger screws may crack the legs if not properly pre-drilled. 4. Attach the brackets to the table using 1/4"x1" lag screws (a total of 25 screws will be needed). Optional: I applied wood glue underneath the brackets for added security.
