Lack Enclosure LED Strip Holder

Lack Enclosure LED Strip Holder

thingiverse

I required something to securely hold an LED strip for my Prusa Lack enclosure, and discovered Jimmy01's Anet E12 strip holder. I found his LED track too tight for my LED strip, and the mounting holes were misaligned (and undersized) for what I needed. I reused the same screws from the official LACK build (used on the sides of the corner pieces), and printed two of these modified holders. I sized them to be placed side-by-side across the LACK, but ultimately decided to mount them in a V shape for better lighting around the bed. I combined a WS2812 individually addressable LED strip (16 LED's fit using the spacing I had) with the OctoPrint RGB Status plugin for full status and progress indication of the print. I still need to tidy up the wiring, but it's working smoothly. Highly recommended!
