Lack Enclosure hanging spool holder
thingiverse
I designed a unique hanging spool holder that overcame feeding filament issues due to my double enclosure setup. The problem arose because another printer was positioned above it, making it impossible to place the spool on top of the enclosure. To resolve this issue, I created a custom hanging spool holder that mounts behind the printer, allowing me to switch between spools without moving the printer. This innovative solution has been working flawlessly, so I'm excited to share it with others who may face similar challenges. The design is based on version 1, but I've already upgraded to version 2. To create this holder, simply print two copies - one for the original holder and another as a mirror image. Additionally, you'll need to print a roller, which is identical to the one found in the Filler spool holder. The roller requires two skateboard bearings, specifically part number 608, to ensure smooth operation.
