Lack Enclosure - Fluted Dowel Guide
thingiverse
I designed the fluted dowels because the Lack Tables typically have a hollow core and can't support standard fluted dowels. The fluted dowel guide was developed based on using 1/2" particle board and 1/4"x1" fluted dowels. By placing the side with the end cap next to the Lack Table leg, you should get a 3mm space if desired for placing foam pads or weatherstripping. I checked the store and after looking at it, I won't be using that option. So, for the top and bottom of the particle board, I will use 1/2" thin foam and will get the sides as close to the legs as possible. This means unless you want to use the 3mm end caps for your own spacing, they won't be needed. Please also check out my Lack Enclosure - Complete Setup on Thingiverse. As well as my other things I've created at Bolerro designs page:1.
