Labyrinth container - Geocache
cults3d
Wanted a geocaching container that's easy to open (this one has just 1 path with no deviations at all). Also, I got to practice Fusion 360 by projecting a sketch onto a cylindrical object, and I nailed it. Size: 50 x 29mm. I printed a test model beforehand where the gaps were too loose, so I made the margins smaller and designed this container specifically for a resin UV LCD printer. It might not work on a regular FDM printer, though. There's a spot for a 23-2mm O-ring to make the container watertight when closed (optional). At the bottom, there's a slope to ensure it tightens in a closed state. I also included a small space where you can add your name or tracking number (geocache). Feel free to comment or offer advice; I'm new to 3D printing since last month and still learning Fusion 360 after two weeks. The red lid is just for show – it's not part of the actual design.
