Nintendo LABO VR Headset Mounting Clips are designed to snap seamlessly into original grommet locations on the side of the VR lenses. The top mount is engineered to install with a precise cut in the cardboard. Required Parts: - 1x Grommet - 2x Raised Strap Clip (Supports) or Strap Clip - 1x Large Strap Clip or Large Strap Clip (Supports) The "Raised Strap Clip (Supports)" will snap directly into existing headset grommets, but require substantial support underneath the part. The "Strap Clip" does not need supports, but will necessitate cuts on the side of the headset for installation. The "Large Strap Clip" does not require supports when printing, utilizing a sacrificial bridge on the large overhang, which demands minor cleanup. The "Large Strap Clip (Supports)" does not include the sacrificial bridge and will necessitate supports for printing. It is highly recommended to use 2x "Raised Strap Clip (Supports)" and 1x "Large Strap Clip" if you are confident in your printer's support and bridging capabilities. All parts are designed to print with the flattest side facing down (rotate 90 degrees along X in slicer). Installation Steps: - Position the large strap clip against the curved surface of the VR headset lenses. Utilize a pencil to trace the circular opening in the printed part, ensuring it aligns with the Nintendo Switch logo. - Insert the printed grommet through the inside of the headset and snap the large strap clip onto it. - Remove the grommet clips on the side of the headset and replace them with the two printed strap clips. (If you did not print the "Raised Strap Clips", you will need to cut away the cardboard for proper fit.) - Install the headset straps into the clips, adjusting as necessary.
