Labo VR Head Strap Adapter
thingiverse
This is a head strap adapter for the Nintendo Labo VR goggles. I didn't want to print an entire VR headset since the cardboard isn't bad and it's light. A headset would require a lot of PLA to duplicate the cardboard, which wouldn't be worth it. I think this adapter is the best way to add head straps to the Labo VR without damaging the cardboard. Printing the adapter on the top or bottom edges is likely the most mechanical, fastest, and cheapest option. The easiest method is printing it as suggested by the STL file. You will need to print this with supports. On the edge, it takes around 38g of material to print this, while laying flat requires 50g. It's easy to install this adapter. Remove the washers on the sides, then clip the adapter into the washer places on both sides. You can also slide the top part under the lens edge. Install a head strap and you're done! It's that simple. EDIT: The print is complete, and it fits perfectly as expected. I added some pictures to illustrate how it looks. My head strap is made from a pair of suspenders, which I created myself. A simple thank you is always appreciated.
