Labitrude 1.0 Beta 3
thingiverse
The new Labitrude 1.0 Beta 3 extruder features changes such as an altered fixed block and base air vent, a switched driven gear, and version numbers on specific parts. Designed using materials readily available in the "The reprap group @ Labitat" inventory, this extruder is suited for 3mm filament, Nema17 motors, and "608" bearings. While glueing of the duct has been eliminated, both fan clips must still be glued on. The air duct has also been altered, integrated partially in the fixed block. A secure grip is achieved using 3mm studding for drive accessibility, and a gear ratio change to 30/11 (requires testing). For 1.75mm filament or compact design preference, consider the original "Reprap Mini Extruder by adrian-bowyer" available at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:7975. Labitat, a Danish hackerspace in Copenhagen, offers more information on their website at http://www.labitat.dk. Instructions for the full extruder assembly will be available later.
