At Ultimaker.com we make our operations run smoothly with laser cut and 3D printed tools like this label dispenser. This first version already works great and saves us a lot of time. It's designed to print exactly the width of our current labels, cutting down printing time to under 10 minutes because speed was crucial for us. You can customize it in OpenSCAD for your specific label size - larger ones will also work for smaller labels too. Check out this happy user giving it a try for the first time: This same object should also be perfect for postage stamps, but if not, recompiling with minor tweaks to the parameters might do the trick. The wall thickness is on the thin side, yet you can still read the label from the top side clearly.
