lab vacuum line stand
thingiverse
I finally nailed it and the fit between top and bottom required a bit of assistance from a hammer, but it fits perfectly now. I also revised the interior support for the base as previously, I couldn't fit the BB's in it, but you can now fit them easily. To rest the vac line against in the hood, I needed a stand, so I designed this 2-part stand. The base is a shell with a center support in the bottom ring to hold printing securely in place. I left the base hollow so that BB's or sand could be added to give the stand some weight. Once filled, the top should snap into the base seamlessly, though removing it later will be quite challenging. This design is still a work in progress, so any suggestions are welcome and would be greatly appreciated. You shouldn't need supports if you orient the parts on the print bed correctly. I plan to print this on the MP Select Mini V2, but I have to scale both parts down to 97% to get it to fit the print bed.
