Lab Scissor Jack Stand [WIP]
cults3d
This is a printable lab jack with a plate size of 10x10cm. To use it, simply turn the knurled knob and the stand should either go up or go down. There are two STL files included, the assembled version to use a reference for assembling in real life and the disassembled version with all parts in the most optimal printing orientation. Additional notes, the .stp file is included so if you want to improve upon this project, feel free to do so! There are also a few known design flaws such as the knob on the bottom being awkward to use, the lead spring undoing itself and the nuts not easily screwing on. I will eventually improve upon them as the in due time seeing as how this is a WIP project. Additionally, the screenshots included are of a previous version which did not work. As for downloading, you really only need to print jack stand disassembled.stl and use the assembled version as a guide on how to assemble it. I would discourage to print using the assembled version as parts in that version are in awkward angles e.g. 1.7 degrees. 600g Test here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8yEMM4-VDT4
