Lab holder
thingiverse
Here's my lab holder. The interchangeable holding pads allow for different versions to be used - currently only one type is available. Pads: PETG 100um Arms: PLA 150um, fill 30% Screw/nut: PLA 100um, fill 40% The pads are printed in PETG because otherwise the holder tabs would break off. The arm holes designed to be 5mm, but most printers tend to make them a bit smaller. I personally hand-drill mine to 5mm for a better fit with the pads. The spring is homemade from a 0.6mm piano wire. The plan is to insert a 10 mm metal rod into the end of the holder and then attach it to another holder, as shown in the picture. There's a 3mm screw hole at the bottom to secure the rod. I've glued some cork to the pads so the grip is better and cork can also withstand heat from soldering.
