Two sheela-na-gigs were expertly integrated into the coping of the gate entrance wall. One was seamlessly blended into the jamb of a window of the 16th century castle, while the other originated from Portnahinch Castle. These ancient carvings were relocated from this site to a house in the Dangans belonging to Mrs. Fennelly, where they unfortunately suffered severe damage due to a truck mishap. Both it and the Portnahinch figure were badly broken as a direct result and were later repurposed as building materials. This is an artificially generated 3D model based on Helen Roe's black and white image, utilizing advanced techniques to create a height map and force a realistic 3D appearance onto the model.
