The Province of Namur Tourism Federation, as a member of the European Federation of St. James' Paths to Compostela, is a partner in the European project "Cosme - Loci Iacobi". The goal of this project is to create digital tools for the valorization of this mythical path and for a more connected route.\nThe traces of Saint Jacques de Compostelle's pilgrimage are numerous in Namur: several buildings bear his name, particularly the Gothic-style Tower "Saint Jacques". Its construction dates back to the 14th century. After the destruction in 1745 of the St-Pierre-au-château collegiate church, the Tower became the Beffroi of Namur. In the 18th century, the enclosure was demolished. The tower was preserved and restored. This building is part of the 56 Beffrois in Belgium and France classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.\nLocation: Rue du Beffroi, B-5000 Namur (Province of Namur)
