The "Clock Tower" is also known as the "Templar's Tower," but it has nothing to do with the Templar Order: it is a keep built by the Castellane, who were lords of Saint-Martin-de-Brômes from 1227 to 1673. The tower was constructed in the 13th century. It then served as a pigeon house. A Roman tomb of the 4th century with a lead coffin and skeleton were found there in 1972. It is classified as a historic monument since January 11, 1921.
