The Gateway to the Sea, a majestic structure situated in Valencia, Spain, was constructed in 1946 as a replacement for the medieval city gate that had stood since ancient times. The original gate was torn down in 1867, along with a significant portion of the historic Christian city wall. Today, this impressive gateway boasts three imposing openings, reminiscent of the triumphant arches of the Roman Empire. Perched atop these openings are four striking reliefs crafted by the renowned sculptor Vicente Navarro Romero. His masterful creations depict "The Valor", "The Abnegation", "The Peace", and "The Glory".
