La Pouquelaye de Faldouet Neolithic Passage Tomb

The Faldouet Dolmen, also known as this large neolithic passage tomb, stands out on the Island of Jersey in the English Channel. The massive capstone above the rear chamber weighs roughly 24 tonnes.The central circular chamber features three small subsidiary chambers and two internal cists inside. It's accessed through a 5m long passage within the low remnants of the original mound that boasts two stone revetment walls and a surrounding circle of stones.
