If you're reading this, you've probably also read that breaking the plastic ring is a common issue when removing the glue and adjusting your pressure stat. I didn't want to take any chances, so I decided to create a small tool to evenly distribute the force around the ring. This worked perfectly for me, but use it at your own risk, and be gentle with it!
