Photography of a 1.75m polyurethane replica created by Roselyne Conil in 2002 to adorn the roof of the Maison de la Dame de Brassempouy, designed by Pierre and Eric Raffy, architects.\nThe Lady of Brassempouy is a small ivory statuette of a mammoth, 3.65 cm tall, dating back 25,000 years, discovered in 1894 on the archaeological site of Grottes du Pape at Brassempouy (40). Found with eight other human statuettes in ivory, it stands out for its quality and representation of the face. It is currently one of the oldest portraits in our history.\nA defect correction to the 3D model's (top of the skull) was performed by artist Frederico Martins' care (https://sketchfab.com/frederico4d). We thank him here.
