L85 / SA80 wall mount
thingiverse
Note the mount is designed specifically for an airsoft replica equipped with the Daniel Defence rail, not the original plastic foregrip or the recently released keymod mount on the A3 upgrade. If you're interested in purchasing a mount for the A3 foregrip, feel free to do so - I'll be happy to add it later if you drop a comment. Alternatively, if you want a mount for the older plastic foregrip, let me know and I'll dig out the original foregrip to attach it. The rear mount is designed to clip around the fire selector rod, while the front mount slots into the picatinny rail, allowing installation at any point along the foregrip rail. This ensures that the replica can be held horizontally against the wall without making contact with it. The replica shown in the photo is an Army R85 brand L85, which has been modified with an A2 style cocking handle and an airsoft clone of the Daniel Defence foregrip rail mount system found on later A2 upgrades. It also features a Chinese ACOG copy. The replica weighs approximately 5kg. When mounting the replica to the wall, the holes assume a screw with a diameter of 4mm, allowing for recessed screws and even brass caps to spread the pressure of the screw head. Three screws are needed: one on top and two on the bottom. To reiterate, the replica shown is an airsoft replica - you can see some wiring in the front foregrip. This is not a real rifle, and I cannot guarantee that PLA will hold a fully loaded replica or a de-activated rifle. Additionally, I do not guarantee that the dimensions on the Army R85 match those of the ICS, Ares, or WE replicas or a de-act rifle, as the Army R85 is supposed to be a copy of the G&G rifle.
